Art Motivation
'How do you find art motivation' is something I get asked all the time. People struggle with staying motivated and persistent 😬
Staying inspired is hard, but for me, 'getting started' is even harder. How do you know where to start, how do you know when to start, how do you even know if this is the right thing that you need to start with? 🤔
In a world of confusion and uncertainty, I've found out that the more I ask myself these questions the more I get confused 😕
I've started countless endeavors and many of them failed but those failures is actually what showed me the way. So really, the only way to start, is to real
My Brushes + Free Download
‘What brushes are you using?’ is the simple most question that I get on here. I’ve spent over 6 years collecting my Photoshop brushes and I’m finally releasing them 😁

A lot of people recommend that you start by replicating other artists. Although that can be a great learning technique, for the beginner artist, this might hurt them more than actually helping them. When you don’t have a good foundation, trying to jump directly into other people’s styles can only confuse you even more
Don't put unrealistic goals for yourself
I get a lot of questions from people about whether art is for them or not. Nobody feels like they are truly "talented". Did I feel like an artist from the beginning or did it take time to grow on me?
The mainstream advice would usually tell you to "dream big" or "be unrealistic". But I feel as artists that might hurt us more than it can help us. Especially as a beginner, your creative soul might not be strong enough, so the pain from not reaching your goals might make you give up on art altogether. So what's the solution?
Self awareness. Knowing which mindset to apply according to your situation. Although sometimes not giving a fukk can bri
